What is a digital utility service?

We define digital utility services as any software that interacts directly with physical infrastructure to provide a benefit to a community (e.g. ride and home-sharing services). Digital utility services are complementary to standard utilities, such as electricity, and are already proving to be just as critical to community growth as technology evolves.

Together with our great partners, we work directly with communities to determine an area’s largest barriers to growth and develop a low-cost implementation plan. We start small, then scale up.
